Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how LYNX Technology Development, LLC (“LTDC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Show Your Work service (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information — name, email address, password, and business name you provide when you register
  • Business content — photos, videos, job descriptions, and other content you upload to generate and publish posts
  • Payment information — handled directly by our payment processor, Stripe; we do not store your full card number
  • Platform connection data — tokens and account identifiers required to publish to Facebook, Instagram, and Google Business Profile on your behalf, managed through our publishing partner, Zernio
  • Usage data — log data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken within the Service

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including generating captions and publishing content on your behalf
  • Process payments and manage your subscription
  • Communicate with you about your account, billing, and service updates
  • Monitor and improve the Service, including diagnosing technical issues
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues

3. AI Processing of Your Content

To generate captions, the job descriptions and related information you provide are sent to a third-party AI provider (currently Anthropic) for processing. We do not use your business content to train AI models we do not control, beyond what is necessary to generate your requested captions in the ordinary course of providing the Service.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with service providers who help us operate the Service, including:

  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing
  • Zernio — publishing and connection management for Facebook, Instagram, and Google Business Profile
  • Anthropic — AI-generated caption text
  • Amazon Web Services (S3) — storage of uploaded photos and videos

These providers are only permitted to use your information as necessary to provide their services to us, and are not permitted to use it for their own independent purposes.

5. Social Media Platform Connections

When you connect a Facebook Business Page, Instagram account, or Google Business Profile, you authorize the Service to access and post content to that account through the platform’s official API, using the minimum permissions required to provide the publishing feature. You can disconnect a platform at any time from your account settings, which revokes our access going forward.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies necessary to operate the Service, such as maintaining your login session and remembering your display preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account and business content for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription or delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes (for example, billing records).

8. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can update most account information directly in the Service, or contact us using the details below to make a request.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, such as by email or an in-app notice. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
