Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: September 1, 2026

This policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for Show Your Work subscriptions and add-on purchases, provided by LYNX Technology Development, LLC (“LTDC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. Free Trial

New subscriptions include a free trial period, as shown at checkout. A valid payment method is required to start your trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and your payment method will be charged.

2. Subscription Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can view your current plan and next billing date at any time from your account’s billing settings.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings — there is no minimum commitment and no cancellation fee. When you cancel, your subscription remains active through the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for, and will not renew after that.

4. Refunds on Subscription Fees

Subscription fees already billed are generally non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, unused features, or early cancellation. If you believe you were charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge or a charge after you cancelled — contact us and we will investigate and issue a refund if a billing error occurred.

5. Add-On Purchases (Brand VoicePrint)

One-time add-ons, such as the Brand VoicePrint add-on, are charged immediately at the time of purchase, separately from your subscription’s trial or billing cycle. Because these add-ons involve work we begin performing on your behalf shortly after purchase, they are non-refundable once the associated deliverable (for example, your generated voice profile) has been produced. If you have not yet received the deliverable, contact us and we will review your request.

6. Plan Changes

If you upgrade or downgrade your plan, the change and any related billing adjustment takes effect according to the terms shown to you at the time of the change. We do not provide prorated refunds for downgrades made mid-billing-period.

7. Failed Payments and Account Access

If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you and retry billing. Accounts with an unresolved failed payment enter a grace period of 14 days, during which access continues. If payment is not resolved by the end of the grace period, your account may be locked until billing is brought current or you cancel.

8. How to Request a Refund

To cancel your subscription, use the billing settings in your account. To request a refund review for a billing error, contact us at service@lynxtdc.com with your account email and a description of the issue. We aim to respond to billing inquiries within a few business days.
